The Trustee Support Working Group will collate material that would seek to provide objective, practical information for trustees.

Among its aims will be to:

Make available practical suggestions, examples, resources and other material to help trustees approach the activities they are expected to undertake. For instance, information and advice on:

 How to keep up to date with industry developments
   - How to approach difficult situations
   - How to hire and assess service providers
   - How to monitor your training needs
   - How to review investment charging
   - Specimen recovery plans or Statement of Investment Principles

 Provide support and guidelines to help trustees assess their activities against existing guidelines for trustees
