1.The RSTE Campaign is a bold new project which aims to improve the quality of education, training and learning for all trustees of pension schemes in the UK
2.It aims to establish a widely promoted website of freely accessible information and guidelines for lay trustees within to be updated and monitored on an ongoing basis
3.It intends to work with trustees and pensions industry professionals to ensure broad support of the RSTE website and its recommendations
4.It will work within the framework of the TKU regime and support the work of the Pensions Regulator (eg, the Trustee Toolkit)
5.While the campaign is focusing on the needs of trustees, it is hoped much of the guidance that we produce will be applicable to governance committees for contract based DC schemes and for the public sector.
